Pre Summit Tour Of Industrial Facilities In Germany By AIDN Representative June 25, 2013

The AIDN has initiated pre Summit courtesy calls and advanced meetings with potential investors, companies and groups in preparation for the up-coming Akwa Ibom Leadership and Economic Summit 2013 that will feature Nigeria’s Centenary and guided tours to German industrial and other infrastructural developmental companies.

His Excellency Godswill Akpabio, CON, Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State will lead a distinguished delegation to the Summit. Also, the Federal Government delegation led by Prof. Ita Ewa, Hon. Minister of Science and Technology, will participate in the Summit holding on 1-3 August 2013 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

The CEO of SOLONIC Gmbh, Mr. Hans Holtmann, commended the leadership of AIDN, Mr. Clement Ikpatt – President and Barr. Uduak Ukpeh – the Secretary General, for the visionary scope of the Summit and mandate given Mr. Saturday Jackson, the AIDN Area Coordinator in Germany. to reach out to industrialists and companies willing to add value to Gov. Godswill Akpabio’s uncommon transformation policy.

Mr. Jackson remarked that the main purpose of his visit to SOLONIC Gmbh factory facilities in Wessel, Germany, as he will continue to few other industrial facilities across Germany, is to source for potentials investors who desire to partner with Akwa ibom State Government and the Federal Government for mutual economic benefits.

“This tour is in readiness for the visit by H.E Governor Godswill Akpabio who will lead a high powered delegations to Germany. We are leaving no stone unturned to make the Summit not only successful, but such that will see investors actually becoming corporate citizens of Akwa Ibom State and other parts of Nigeria”, said Mr. Jackson.

Mr. Saturday Jackson, the AIDN coordinator in Germany, also visited the companies Standard Gas Power Plants in the City of Kevelaer, Germany. The power plants currently has capacity to generate 800 KW of electric power to over 50,000 Inhabitants in Akwa Ibom State with uninterrupted power supply and can complement Gov. Godswill Akpabio’s uncommon transformation in the power sector.

During his visit to one of largest solar farms in Europe owned by SOLONIC Gmbh in the City of Viersen, Germany, Mr. Jackson was informed that a stable, working and uninterrupted grid is required to run a significantly sized solar or wind power plants.

SOLONIC Gmbh also builds and operate noise free Gas plants with optimal noise Isolation. It is also a plug and play solution with low space demand. “We are proud to be associated with Akwa Ibom State we do recognize the good work of His Excellency, Dr. Godswill Akpabio, the Governor of Akwa Ibom State” said Mr. Hans Holtmann. “With this, we want to partner with the State to generate sufficient , reliable and uninterrupted power supply for the people of Akwa Ibom State” he continued.
